Limited Custody Services

Limited custody service refers to the safekeeping of capital market instruments, the execution of settlement for such instruments that are subject to trading, the collection of interest income based on the client’s yield preference, the distribution of capital increases and dividend payments, the collection of withholding taxes arising from client transactions, and the reflection of these services to client accounts. It also includes reconciliation of these accounts with institutions providing general custody services.

BtcTurk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. is a Capital Markets Investment Institution authorized to provide limited custody services.

Within the scope of its licensed execution and portfolio intermediation services, BtcTurk Yatırım also provides limited custody services for the safekeeping of capital market instruments subject to intermediation.

In order to offer custody services, a Capital Market Transactions Brokerage Framework Agreement must be signed between the client and our Company. Upon signing the relevant agreement, an account is opened in the name of the client both with our Company and the Central Securities Depository (MKK), and a client registration number is assigned.
